I would suggest that if you want customers to queue in a certain area of the shop that this be labelled appropriately with clear signage. The manner in which I was spoken to by a member of staff (I believe he is a floor manager or supervisor) was quite demeaning. It was the tone of voice and attitude that I would expect from a stroppy teenager, not a staff member of Bookers. The member of staff was also indecisive about who was going to be next, putting pressure on several groups of people waiting to pay. Lastly, there was only one exit available which meant cutting across people in a very confined space in which social distancing was not possible. It is a shame that I have to write this review as all the other members of staff are polite and friendly. I suggest an extended period of retraining in how to speak to customers be put in place for this individual.
